Every single flight I have *ever* taken with Iberia has resulted in my luggage being lost. Every single one. That's five for five. I will never fly with them again. Each time their service was a disgrace. 8 months ago via web

I recently flew with Iberia from South America to London. My last flight was cancelled from Madrid to London, due to bad weather in London so not really their fault. We were slightly delayed but arrived in London in good time. When waiting for our luggage my name was called, it turned out my luggage was still in Spain. There was no apology for this, a form was thrust into my hand and I was told to fill it out so that it would be delivered the next day. Not the end of the world but an apology would have been nice. Next day and the luggage did arrive but quite a lot of stuff was missing from it. I called up the telephone number given to me at the airport and after and long and difficult menu system the gentleman that answered told me that I couldn't prove anything that was in the bag so it wasn't their fault. Entirely unreasonable and very rude. I wonder if there is anything I can do other than use my travel insurance? 8 months ago via web
I can't think of anything off the top of my head, except using the travel insurance. That's terrible though - I agree with ryanair 'BA and Iberia merging are like two drunks trying to prop themselves up after a night out'. No wonder they are going bankrupt with service like this. 8 months ago via web

Glutton for punishment? Well, unfortunately I had a client that required me to be in Spain. The answer, I eventually realized, was to ditch the client. And thus I solved my Iberia problem.

I flew to Barcelona and, guess what, Iberia lost my luggage.
And when we all went to complain, the Iberia staff themselves told us not to fly Iberia. "We always lose luggage. We're the worst." 8 months ago via web
