Normal 2G (GSM/GPRS) coverage at my place of work is perfect, signal continually at the top of the scale, yet 3G coverage is completely hopeless, and there appears to be no immediate prospect for improvement. Isn't it about time Vodafone applied some science to their coverage rather than pure guess work? There's absolutely no technical reason why they can't deliver 100% coverage in the areas where they claim coverage. Proper cell planning would do this but it costs a few million a year to keep updated. A drop in the ocean really considering multi billion profits. In any other industry, they would be challenged for trades descriptions! 8 months ago via web
